Wakiem Freeman

Wakiem Freeman ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Harlem-born author, Wakiem Freeman began his writing career as a songwriter in 1994. After a chance meeting with legendary singer Baby face, Waken decided to put his dream on hold on entering the industry after being told there were no roster spots on Edmonds Entertainment. While laid off from his job as an engineer at investment bank Solomon, Smith & Barney, Wakiem decided he didn't like getting up everyday and going to work for someone else any longer. He wanted to be his own boss, thus in 2006 he cut his life savings in half and formed Apricot Books International and self-published his debut novel 'No One To Blame'. Freeman is proclaiming that he is 'New King of Urban Literature'. I'm the heart of the street, I've seen, and been thru things unimaginable to the human eye. Look at the cover. I was twenty one years old. A neighborhood superstar!
