Self-Publishing Guru Renee Daniel Flagler set to appear at Queens Book Fair. Renee Flagler is the founder of a yearly Self-Publishing Symposium which attracts Self-Published Authors from around the country. In addition, Renee Flagler recently has established the 'Divas of Literature Tour."
The Queens Book Fair will be held at the Jamaica Harvest Room located at 90-40 160th Street, Jamaica, New York. The Queens Book Fair Committee has recently launched the Queens Book Fair web site at www.queensbookfair.com to facilitate author registration and consumer information request for the Queens Book Fair.
About Renee Daniel Flagler:
Renee Daniel Flagler is a writer who has served in marketing, promotions and events for over ten years. Professionally, her writing has been featured in business and consumer newsletters, magazines, ads, brochures, websites and sales & media kits nationwide.
Flagler has always treasured the art of writing since she was a young girl and expressed her delight in the form of short stories, poetry, lyrics and screen plays. Her first published work was a poem featured in her high school year book.
In 2004 she took her love of creative writing seriously and self-published her first novel, Mountain High, Valley Low, under her company, Aspicomm Media. The book has been featured in Ebony Magazine, The New York Amsterdam News and the Columbus Post, to name a few.
Under the divisions of Aspicomm Media, Flagler has been able to marry the things she enjoys the most, marketing, events and writing, into one fulfilling personal career. She continues to consult clients with innovative marketing support, produce and coordinate captivating events and plans to publish several more titles of her own as well as the works of other aspiring authors.
In addition to being President and CEO of Aspicomm Media, Flagler is currently pursuing the launch of Futures by Design, a nonprofit organization dedicated to mentoring at risk teenage girls by helping them build confidence and realize their potential in an effort to orchestrate the promise of brighter futures.
Flagler is a graduate of New School University with a Masters in Media Arts as well as a graduate of St. Johns University with a Bachelor of Science in Communications. She is a member of the National Black MBA Association, National Association of Female Executives and Publishers Marketing Association. Currently, she resides in Long Island, NY with her husband and children.
